ABOUT THE EVENT
This is Copa Surf — the SD Surf Cup Qualifier — for the U9-U19 age groups will be held March 1-2, 2025 in Morgan Hill, CA. Be part of a Regional Showcase tournament that sends its winners to the Surf Cup in San Diego!
- Age Groups: Boys & Girls 2016-2006 (U9-U19)
- Entry Fee: $795 (7v7) – $895 (9v9) – $995 (11v11)
- Application Deadline: February 17, 2025
- Event Dates: March 1-2, 2025
- There will be a 3-game guarantee with finals on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
- The Copa Surf will host boys and girls from 9U to 19U in one bracket: Best of the Best
Best of the Best Division winners will earn the automatic bid to Surf Cup San Diego in July 2025. (Separate Entry Payment Required)

The current deadline for the Copa Surf | SD Surf Cup Qualifier is February 17th, 2025. Please note that if for some reason you miss this deadline, you’ll have to contact our event Director for more information.
FEES & PENALTIES
Tournament Fees:
- 11v11 Teams: $995
- 9v9 Teams: $895
- 7v7 Teams: $795
Withdrawal Penalty:
- Please be advised that, due to the nature of event planning and resource allocation, we maintain a no-refund policy for teams that withdraw after acceptance.
- By registering, teams agree to forfeit any refund entitlement should they choose or be required to withdraw from the tournament. This policy ensures that our commitment to fair scheduling, venue preparation, and resource management remains in place to provide the best experience for all participants.

- 2016-2015 Birth year will play 7v7
- 2014-2013 Birth year will play 9v9
- 2012-2006 Birth year will play 11v11
- Each team is Guaranteed 3 Games.
- All Copa Surf Games are played at Morgan Hill Sports Complex.
- Tents and benches are provided for each team.
- Medals for 1st and 2nd place teams. (Championship Matches)
- Trophy for 1st place teams. (Championship Matches)
- Best of the Best Champion – Automatic Acceptance to Summer Surf Cup (Separate Entry Payment Required)
- No-hassle Online tournament check-in before the tournament starts.
- Extremely responsive to teams’ scheduling needs based on travel distance and coaching conflicts.
- Finals will be played on March 2, 2025.

VALLEY Surf serves a large youth demographic and its reach goes far beyond soccer. Over the past 3 years, we have hosted THOUSANDS OF Youth participants. These events serve as a platform by which kids can connect with colleges as well as the Olympic, Professional, and US National teams.
